Mental Health Outpatient Services

Outpatient Services provides outpatient therapy for children, adults, and families. The goal of Outpatient Services is to increase the level of an individual's functioning and well being and consequently reduce the individual's need for more intensive services.  This is primarily done on an individual/family basis, although therapy is occasionally conducted in groups. Most people refer themselves or their children for service. However, we also accept referrals from other sources including hospitals, doctors, schools, and court-ordered clients.

Outpatient Services also provides evaluations and medication management through a staff psychiatrist and staff nurse.

Outpatient Services:

  • Assists clients in self-recovery and self-empowerment through outpatient therapy
  • Develops goals in conjunction with the consumer's needs
  • Reviews the plan every 90 days so that progress can be evaluated and goals can be added or modified
  • Makes referrals to alternative services such as case management and partial hospitalization, if appropriate
  • Therapists attend meetings with the psychiatrist and group staffing to participate in peer review and case consultations
