Centre County

Behavioral Health Administration Unit- BHAU

BHAU is a program of SAM Inc that functions as an administrative entity for BHARP- the 23 County North Central Health Choices Zone. The 23 counties are represented through an organization known as Behavioral Health Alliance of Rural Pennsylvania- BHARP

Administrative functions for the BHARP are performed by the Behavioral Health Administrative Unit or BHAU. The BHAU is operated by Service Access Management, Inc. (SAM Inc.) through a contract with Community Care Behavioral Health and Schuylkill County as the host county for BHARP, and SAM as the ASO. Funding for the BHAU is provided through the Health Choices contract between DPW and Community Care.
