SAM has been awarded recognition for Servant Leadership for the past 3 years. We are proud to share that Paul Straka received the Servant Leader Exemplar Award from the Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership at Seton Hall University in October 2025.

A total of 167 SAM Staff attended the Annual National Association of Case Management Conference in Atlantic City, NJ in September 2025.
Grow
- From Fiscal Year 2023/2024 to Fiscal Year 2024/2025 the SAM Early Intervention Program grew the total population of children and families served by 5.3% and added an additional County for services.
- SAM Administrative Entity Services have tripled in the number of Counties served from 2010 to 2025. During 2025, 2 new County contracts were secured, and 3 County contracts were expanded in scope and services.
Improve Service Quality
- The Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services has audited and successfully awarded approval of 3 SAM Blended Case Management Programs in Lycoming/Clinton Counties, Schuylkill County, and Tioga County.
- Over 500 SAM staff are trained in Trauma Informed Care Series101, 102, and 103!

- Experience with SAM Satisfaction Services first quarter (July – September 2025) results indicate a 100% satisfaction by individuals and families for the Mental Health, Community Wellness, IDD Supports Coordination, and Early Intervention Service Lines!
